The Mantuan mustard of campanine apples is a sweet preparation typical of the Mantua area. The campanina apple grows in this area, the trees hase a long life and medium productivity. Prepared with sugar and a few drops of mustard, it goes well with aged cheeses, soft and boiled cheeses. Campanine apple mustard is also a typical ingredient of Mantuan pumpkin tortelli.
