The rebellious South Tyroleans, Lorenz & Leander, along with their three partner farmers, cultivate a variety of mountain herbs and flowers in the heart of the Stelvio National Park and the high Val Venosta, crafting them into unique tea blends.
The love for nature and passion for herbs of these two certified aromatic herb growers guarantee the highest quality.
The pure mountain air at 1,350 meters above sea level, surrounded by the breathtaking glacier world of the Ortler Group, far from industry, traffic, and highways, provides the ideal conditions for herb cultivation. Slow growth at this altitude often results in only 3 cm instead of 5 cm. A single harvest per year is the secret to concentrated ingredients, intense aromas, and stunning colors.
Sharing tasks and letting others share in the success through cooperation defines the ethos of the South Tyrolean Herb Rebels. We now have a handful of regional partner farmers who can cultivate selected individual herbs in small quantities. Thanks to this, we have launched a special initiative to have our teas packaged by the Aiuto alla Vita Venosta Association in Silandro.
All tea blends are prepared and packaged for a fee at the Aiuto alla Vita Association in Silandro. This association supports people with disabilities in all life situations, helping them in their most challenging moments to live with self-determination.
