Marini Vivai’s saffron is sold exclusively in stigmas. Being cultivated and dried in a totally natural way, they preserve all the taste and beneficial properties typical of this precious spice, rich in vitamin AB and carotenoids. To use, it must be soaked in hot water or broth for four hours for savoury dishes, or in hot water or milk for sweet dishes. Marini Vivai’s saffron is analysed every year by the University of the Mountain, and has always been classified in the “first category”.
